What I think would be a cool addition to save the world:

Allowing players to enter the big storm base doors in storm wood, interacting with characters they saved like the radio man, Lars, etc.

Being able to customise furniture inside that Homebase's doors, or at least get your own little bedroom you can design all to yourself (6+tiles, upgrades depending on your account level), 

You can see inside it technically already but that's only in the lobby you just can't explore it, and also you get to sorta see a different one in the tutorial level when you first start save the world.
